Today, I would like to share some information about SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
It is a common belief that SEO services can be purchased and your website will appear at the top of search results.
SEO is not like shopping at your local store and buying something off the shelves. It is a strategy that requires time to develop and implement.
It’s more like going to the gym. You might want to gain muscle mass or lose weight.
You won’t make any progress if you only go to the gym for one session. You will see little improvement if you only go to the gym once.
You will make progress if you keep going to the gym for a long time. Regular consistent work can help you build muscle and lose weight.
This is how SEO works. First, you need to create a strategy. This strategy then needs to be implemented over time.
My friend and mentor always said that consistency is better than ability.
This is how it relates to SEO. This boils down to doing SEO basics right consistently. It’s not enough to do it once. Many SEOs will tell you that it takes 3-6 months to see good results from an SEO campaign.
I call it BS. Although you can achieve results quicker, it is important to be realistic about the results your website can expect.
Think back to the …. gym example
Let’s take two people as an example. Jeff has been a couch potato all his life. Tony, his neighbour, has been running a bit and participates in an indoor soccer league.
Tony and Jeff both sign up for a gym in their area that has recently opened. Is it possible for Tony and Jeff to expect the same results after just one month of attending the gym? Most likely not. Tony can run and play indoor soccer so he is more fit than Jeff.
What does this all mean for your website? This means that every website is at its current “fitness” level. First, determine how fit or unfit your website is at the moment.
